In February 2010 a Treaty Kit was presented to Terry Burgess, Education and Interpretation Coordinator at the RCMP Heritage Centre for her submission to the Office of the Treaty Commissioner's opportunity to win a Treaty Kit. The program is designed to be adapted to the grade registered. The program is also designed to be aligned with the “Teaching Treaties in the Classroom” curriculum outcomes—at each grade level! This program was created by a teacher who has been working with the board of education to ensure the program meets the current needs of the system. This is a fantastic chance for teachers to enhance the learning of the students through this enriched cultural experience! The Clearing the Path exhibit is rotating, however, the goal is to constantly be enriching the program, so that each visit is a unique one!
